Chelsea slap £100m price tag on Nicolas Jackson

Chelsea have placed a staggering £100 million valuation on Nicolas Jackson amid growing interest from Manchester United.

According to Sky Sports, the 24-year-old Senegalese forward, who has netted 30 goals and contributed 12 assists in 81 appearances for the Blues, is reportedly being monitored by United as they weigh attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season.

Other clubs in Europe, the Premier League, and the Saudi Pro League are also said to be circling.

Despite Jackson’s inconsistent form toward the end of last season, Chelsea are under no pressure to sell and view him as a high-value asset.

With his contract running until 2033, the club holds all the leverage and appear unwilling to sanction a sale unless their steep valuation is met.

However, Jackson’s status as first-choice striker could come under threat following the summer arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

His role under new head coach Enzo Maresca remains to be seen, with competition set to intensify once the squad regroups after their Club World Cup campaign.

Chelsea open their Premier League season at home against Crystal Palace on August 17, and all eyes will be on whether Jackson retains his starting spot.
