Schoolgirl allegedly thrown from moving car in Anambra

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to seek urgent help in saving a young schoolgirl who was allegedly thrown from a moving car in Nkpor, Anambra State.

The woman, identified as @qUeenofTheTown7 on X (formerly Twitter), explained that the girl was found bleeding and crying by the roadside after witnesses saw her pushed out of a moving car at New Parts, Nkpor.

Due to fear of being wrongly accused, no one initially stepped in until a brave woman carried her out of the road and sought help.

“She was raped and is still unconscious,” the woman wrote. “Before passing out, she said she lives in Odonla, Ikorodu, Lagos.”

According to her, the girl is now in the hospital receiving treatment, but support is urgently needed.

She shared a message from the man who helped rush the child to safety:

“I saw people gathered. In the middle was the child, crying and bleeding. Everyone was scared to take her to the hospital. I couldn’t leave her like that. I got help from the nearest vigilante group, and we got her admitted.”

He added that he stayed overnight and bought the girl clothing and other items she needed for recovery.

She has remained in the hospital since then, but financial and emotional support is now urgently needed to aid her recovery.

The woman is also calling on Nigerians, especially residents of Ikorodu, to help identify the girl’s school and verify her identity based on her uniform, which she plans to share without revealing the girl’s face.

“This is beyond heartbreaking. We just want to help her survive and recover,” she said.

Her posts have since drawn emotional reactions, with many Nigerians offering to help or requesting updates on the girl’s condition.
