Atletico Madrid have submitted a proposal to sign Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, offering €30 million plus Brazilian winger Samuel Lino in a player-plus-cash deal, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Lookman, 26, has emerged as Diego Simeone’s top attacking target ahead of the 2025/26 season following his impressive spell in Serie A.

Recall he registered over 25 goal contributions in the last two campaigns.

Despite having agreed to personal terms with Inter Milan, a deal between Inter and Atalanta remains stalled over valuation.

Atalanta are holding out for €50 million for the former RB Leipzig and Everton man; meanwhile, Atletico are seeking to bridge the gap by including Lino, who is deemed surplus to requirements following the arrival of Alex Baena.
