Nigerian senator’s aide resigns over N20,000 salary

Oluwatunbosun Awe, an aide to Nigerian senator, Olajide Ipinsagba,has, resigned due to a monthly salary of N20,000.

Awe served the senator for nearly two decades, starting as a campaign secretary in 2006.

He later worked as a personal assistant and Ward Liaison Officer for Isowopo Ward 2 in Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Awe stressed that his resignation stemmed from the unsustainable salary, despite repeated appeals to the senator for a review.

However, this has sparked controversy online, with Olajide Ipinsagba yet to break his silence on his ex-aide’s claim.
